This Cottage business was started more to provide industry for a person in a wheelchair who was longing to do something more than reading and watching television. Additionally the business has developed into a retirement diversion for the “Other Half.”
We think this New Zealand product provides top quality socks for people with health problems. The brushed wool bed socks are excellent for diabetics, because the toe seam is on the top causing less abrasion. For the person with poor leg circulation there are two styles with a relaxed top, but the socks do not fall down.
Since we are a smaller operation, we do provide more personalized service to the customer. The business has been in operation now for four years.
